Nintendo Flip
Having a cohesive brand identity is one of the most important aspects for any company that is selling many products in the same market. It can be used to differentiate themselves from their competitors, or make the brand distinguishable just by taking a glance at one of their products. The goal of this project was to choose any brand and create a relevant product based on their brand identity.
Research
I chose Nintendo as my company to research and began by making a mood board of their most iconic products and details.

Sketches
I then decided to make a portable speaker companion to the 1st generation Nintendo Switch because of its unmistakable design, but poor on-board audio quality. Each design was meant to fit with the identity of the switch while taking form inspiration from it, and other iconic products.

Models
My next step was creating full scale models out of foam to judge which design worked the best in real life. I ended up moving foreword with the design at the top right (pictured below) for its ability to charge extra joycons and its overall cohesiveness with the Switch.
Exploded View
This render shows the main individual components of the product including the speaker, subwoofers, and battery pack.

Final Renders
Meant to display the product in an appealing way while incorporating the expression of Nintendo. The colors of each one match sets of Joycons licensed by Nintendo.
